Little Nora is about to start school. Her whole family is excited: mom, dad, big brother Karl, and of course, Grandma. She doesn't understand why Nora has to go through all these tests for school. But mom thinks they're essential.

With the tests successfully completed, Nora's school time begins. It soon becomes clear that school is not just about learning. There’s much more hidden at school: new friends, teasing boys, considering others, and even a few important secrets.
